About Our History
In 2012, Dr. Blakely Richardson made the commitment to start a medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology practice built on honesty, integrity, accountability, and excellent patient care. These core values, as well as a pragmatic approach to practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology, led to the establishment of Westgate Skin & Cancer. After two years of preparation and hard work, the practice opened its doors in August of 2014. Since opening, Westgate Skin & Cancer has enjoyed continued growth as it serves Austin and provides outstanding dermatology care.
We're proud to have Dr. Blakely Richardson, a board certified dermatologist, as our medical director. Her compassion, diligence, honesty, integrity, and genuine authenticity set the foundation for our organization on a daily basis. With this foundation, we see patients of all backgrounds, ethnicities, ages, and outlooks for their dermatology needs.
We're a team of experienced and trained dermatology professionals. We take patient care seriously while being approachable. Ultimately, we've found that consistency and attention to detail always leads to outstanding patient outcomes and experiences.
